Job summary

Chromalox, part of the Spirax Group, seeks a Project Manager in La Vergne, TN to drive complex development or manufacturing projects from award to installation with a focus on exceptional customer service.

You will partner with engineering, sales, QA and manufacturing to manage schedules, budgets, risks, and change orders while serving as the primary customer contact and ensuring successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.
• Three+ years leading complex development or manufacturing projects.
• Experience interpreting customer specifications and contracts.
• JDE systems and Microsoft Project experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel 20% between La Vergne, TN and Ogden, UT.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering and sales teams to understand project requirements and constraints; develop project plan and conduct kick-off meetings.
• Create and manage project schedule, budget, communication plan, and risk register; plan and execute risk management.
• Align project plan with cross-functional groups (engineering, quality, manufacturing); develop mitigation actions.
• Serve as primary contact for customers and third-party inspectors.
• Build customer relationships and balance business priorities; resolve complaints and issues.
• Prepare internal and external project reports and conduct status meetings.
• Manage project scope and changes; prepare and manage change orders.
• Conduct lessons learned to implement corrective actions.
