Job summary

Herzog Energy, Inc. seeks a Site Project Manager to lead daily site operations on utility-scale solar and BESS projects in the United States.

You will manage schedules, budgets, and quality, and coordinate field activities among subcontractors, vendors, engineering teams, and project stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery. Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of construction management or field management experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting utility-scale solar, renewable energy, BESS, or heavy civil construction projects preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and interpret contract documents.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% with long durations on location.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily site operations for utility-scale solar and BESS projects while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Coordinate and manage field activities between subcontractors, vendors, engineering teams, and project stakeholders.
  • Drive execution of site activities by monitoring progress and identifying risks.
  • Support timely resolution of project challenges and maintain client communication.
  • Review construction plans and contract documents to ensure field activities meet requirements.
  • Manage and track site progress, including schedule updates, manpower needs, material availability, and subcontractor performance.
  • Support project meetings, progress reporting, and coordination throughout construction.
  • Assist with quality control, inspections, documentation, and project closeout.
  • Coordinate with Project Manager and field leadership to support objectives.
  • Promote Herzog’s culture and ensure regular attendance and punctuality.

Overview

Herzog Energy, Inc., is currently seeking a highly motivated and disciplined Site Project Manager in the United States to join our team.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • This is a non-exhaustive overview of the job duties for this position.
  • Responsible for managing daily site operations for utility-scale solar and BESS projects while maintaining project schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Coordinate and manage field activities between subcontractors, vendors, engineering teams, and project stakeholders.
  • Drive execution of site activities by monitoring progress, identifying risks, and supporting timely resolution of project challenges.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Review construction plans, specifications, and project requirements to ensure field activities are completed in accordance with contract documents.
  • Manage and track site progress, including schedule updates, manpower needs, material availability, and subcontractor performance.
  • Support project meetings, progress reporting, and coordination efforts throughout the construction process.
  • Assist with quality control processes, inspections, documentation, and project closeout requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager and field leadership to support project objectives and successful completion.
  • Regular and consistent engagement, participation and promotion of Herzog’s Culture and its essential behaviors are a requirement for this position.
  • Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are a requirement for this position.

Pre-Employment Requirements
  • Subject to pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report review.
  • Maintain a valid driver\'s license and endorsements as required per position.
  • Subject to pre-employment physical, medical evaluation, and drug screen due to the safety sensitive nature of this position.
  • Successfully complete and maintain any required safety certification and testing on an annual basis.
