Job summary

Amazon Fulfillment Center in the United States (Louisiana) seeks a Site Procurement Manager to bridge centralized Procurement and building leadership. Own the site\'s indirect procurement, including vendor management, PO management, and inventory control.

Lead supplier performance, develop savings metrics, and collaborate with Operations, Finance and AP to drive cost reductions and efficiencies at the site. Travel to assigned sites required, with open dock environments.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Excel or Tableau experience
• 3+ years of supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management
• Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years Amazon experience
• Experience with supplier or vendor relationship management
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Provide procurement operations support for fulfillment centers, including managing suppliers, non-inventory labor, flow and space models, cycle counts, inventory management, and procurement transactions
• Ensure compliance with KPIs, measuring and benchmarking procurement processes
• Develop expertise in non-inventory items and share best practices across buildings
• Build relationships across the network and train teams on procurement processes
• Work with Finance and Procurement Operations to understand budgets and measure savings
• Assist Finance and internal teams in determining budgets and managing blanket POs
• Monitor supplier performance using scorecards and audits to drive improvements
• Ensure 3P suppliers comply with site contracts and SLA terms
• Track and measure savings, develop action plans to meet goals and reduce waste
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to develop innovative procurement solutions
• Implement methods to track supplier performance and drive continuous improvement
• Partner with AP and suppliers to resolve vendor payment issues promptly
• Support Procure-to-Pay execution and local sourcing activities
• Assist centralized Procurement team and GPO pillars in various procurement functions
• Travel to assigned site(s) as needed
