Job summary

Lonza is seeking a Site Process Engineer in Bend, Oregon to optimize manufacturing processes and drive operational improvements. You will lead commissioning, troubleshoot processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality therapies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
Experience in process engineering, MSAT, or technical operations within a regulated environment.
Knowledge of process improvement, equipment commissioning, or tech transfer.

Responsibilities

Apply engineering principles to support safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations.
Lead equipment commissioning, start-up activities, and process troubleshooting.
Identify and resolve process, mechanical, and control system issues.
Partner with cross-functional teams to improve yield, quality, and operational performance.
Analyze process data, perform root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions.
Author technical documentation and support compliance, quality, and risk management activities.
Train and mentor colleagues while sharing technical expertise across the site.
