Job summary

MPS Group Inc. is seeking a Site Manager to oversee the Scout Motors Production Center in Blythewood, SC. This role manages daily facility operations, safety, quality, staffing, and operational efficiency while overseeing routine and out-of-scope industrial cleaning.

Shift: 1st Shift. Schedule: Mon-Fri 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. The candidate will train crews, coordinate reporting, payroll, and regulatory compliance, and ensure client satisfaction at the site.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in facility services or related field.
• Minimum one year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods, equipment, tools, and safety practices.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to supervise and develop the team.
• Understanding of OSHA regulations and safety requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with commitment to quality, safety, and compliance.
• Ability to read safety documents, procedures, and government regulations.
• Ability to prepare reports and operating procedures.
• Effective communication with clients, management, and employees at all levels.
• Proficiency in MS Office and other business software; reporting/tracking systems preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the facility service contract at the customer site.
• Manage safety, quality of work, staffing, and operational efficiency.
• Develop TIS and train crew to deliver standardized work and service.
• Resolve conflicts on the job between employees and customers.
• Provide directions to supervisory staff and crew on equipment use.
• Investigate incidents and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Prepare site operating reports and update corporate systems.
• Process payroll, maintain timekeeping records, and complete safety reports.
• Conduct disciplinary actions when needed.
• Inspect equipment and remove damaged items from service.
• Conduct site inspections and safety tours.
• Train crew per TIS and ensure team readiness; manage training matrix.
• Manage budgets related to labor, supplies, and equipment repair.
