Job summary

The Site Operations Manager (SOM) at Crown Castle oversees all onsite aspects of construction, operations, and maintenance at tower sites, including customer installations, troubleshooting, inspections, and site maintenance. You will manage onsite vendors, installers, and customer representatives while ensuring alignment with Crown Castle policies and standards.

Travel to project sites around southern California (e.g., Thousand Oaks, Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Simi Valley, Ventura, Santa Barbara)

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and/or commensurate experience.
• 4+ years in wireless construction and operations management
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 Construction Training Cards
• First Aid and CPR Certification
• FAA Part 107 License preferred, or ability to obtain license upon offer of employment

Position Title: Site Operations Manager (T4)

Role

The Site Operations Manager (SOM) is responsible for all onsite aspects of construction, operations, and maintenance activity at our tower sites including but not limited to customer installations, troubleshooting, ground-based inspections, tower lighting and site maintenance, and general telecommunications construction and maintenance resolutions. Oversees onsite vendors, installers, and customer representatives, while ensuring all work is conducted and sites are maintained in accordance with Crown Castle policies, procedures, and standards.

Education/Certifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and/or commensurate experience
• 4+ years in wireless construction and operations management
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 Construction Training Cards
• First Aid and CPR Certification
• FAA Part 107 License preferred, or ability to obtain license upon offer of employment

Experience/Minimum Requirements

• Ability to negotiate with landowners to influence outcomes
• Works independently and as a member of various teams
• Demonstrated ability to teach others, mentor and coach
• Knowledge of wireless infrastructure construction process, site acquisition, zoning, permitting, etc.

Working Conditions

Will be required to travel to project sites in and around southern CA including Thousand Oaks, Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Simi Valley, Ventura, and Santa Barbara with exposure to heavy equipment and environmental conditions approximately 90% of the time. Works in a normal office setting with no exposure to adverse environmental conditions approximately 10% of the time.

Compensation

The pay range offered for this position is $36.54 - $50.24 per hour. A candidate's offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives.
