Job description

Operations & Site Manager – Assembly & Warehouse
Dallas–Fort Worth, TX | Full-Time | On-Site | $80,000 annually

LINK Staffing is recruiting an Operations & Site Manager for an established international manufacturing client launching a new assembly and warehouse operation in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

This is a highly visible, hands‑on leadership role for someone who can help launch the facility, establish operating processes, and then lead the day-to-day operation. The ideal candidate combines warehouse and manufacturing leadership experience with a practical engineering mindset and is comfortable working in a startup environment.

What You’ll Do
Facility Startup & Site Management
  • Coordinate activities required to establish and launch a new assembly and warehouse facility.
  • Work with contractors, landlords, utility providers, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Coordinate installation and commissioning of assembly equipment, storage systems, and operational assets.
  • Help develop and implement operating procedures, documentation, workflows, and site standards.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of future team members.
Operations Leadership

  • Ensure customer orders are assembled, picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time.
  • Provide hands‑on technical support to assembly operations when needed.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and product availability.
  • Establish efficient workflows and drive continuous improvement across the operation.
Production Planning & Supply Chain
  • Serve as the primary operational link between the Texas facility and international production, planning, purchasing, and supply chain teams.
  • Coordinate production schedules and inventory requirements.
  • Review demand forecasts and identify potential supply or capacity constraints.
  • Help ensure materials and finished products are available to support customer requirements.
Quality, Safety & Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain company and customer quality standards.
  • Support implementation and ongoing compliance with ISO 9001 quality systems.
  • Lead corrective actions and process improvement initiatives.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with applicable OSHA requirements.
  • Maintain strong housekeeping and workplace organization using 5S principles.
  • Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Manage relationships with local suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
  • Coordinate facility maintenance and equipment service requirements.
  • Obtain quotations and manage purchasing of operational supplies, consumables, and services.
This Is a Hands-On Leadership Role

  • Assembly operations
  • Goods receiving and inspection
  • Picking, packing, and shipping
  • Inventory counts and stock control
  • Equipment setup
  • Basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance coordination
  • Training and cross‑training employees
What We’re Looking For

  • Manufacturing engineering background or comparable technical experience.
  • Strong hands‑on leadership and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience with inventory management, production planning, and material flow.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects, vendors, priorities, and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of operational KPIs and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety practices and OSHA requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with both U.S. and international teams.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of a developing operation.
  • Previous experience helping launch or scale a new facility is highly desirable.
  • Experience with ISO 9001, 5S, Lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
Success in This Role Will Be Measured By
  • On-Time Delivery
  • Inventory Accuracy
  • Assembly Productivity
  • Stock Availability
  • Quality Performance
  • Health & Safety Performance
  • Cost Control Against Budget
  • Salary: $80,000 annually

Who Will Do Well Here

You’ll likely succeed in this position if you are self‑motivated, practical, technically minded, organized, and comfortable building something from the ground up.

We are looking for someone who sees an operational problem and takes ownership of solving it—not someone who waits for a large corporate support structure to provide the answer.
