Job summary

Viridien, an advanced technology, digital and Earth data company, seeks a Site Operations Manager to lead facilities, campus operations, and capital projects at our Houston campus. You will ensure a safe, efficient workplace, manage vendor relationships, real estate activities, and business continuity planning.

Partner with HSE, Security, IT, HR, and the HPC Data Center Facilities team to maintain reliable operations, drive continuous improvement, and oversee budgets, contracts, and emergency

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of facilities, operations, project management, real estate, or related experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams, contractors, and vendors.
  • Strong leadership, project management, budgeting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and other relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Professional certifications such as CFM, FMP, PMP, IFMA, or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of office facilities, building systems, utilities, and workplace services.
  • Lead facilities personnel, contractors, and service providers; promote safety and customer service culture.
  • Manage facility renovations, infrastructure projects, workplace enhancements, and capital investments with budgets, schedules, and communications.
  • Collaborate with HPC Data Center Facilities team on shared infrastructure, utilities, and emergency planning.
  • Oversee real estate, leases, renewals, occupancy planning, contract negotiations, and vendor management to control costs.
  • Serve as site Emergency Response Officer, coordinating drills, recovery activities, and compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Manage operating and capital budgets, monitor expenditures, and develop business cases for facility investments.
