Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Site Medical Director for the Decatur Correctional Center in Decatur, IL. The role provides clinical direction, oversees medical staff and participates in CQI and Infection Prevention initiatives. The position is full-time with day shifts and no nights, weekends, or holidays.

Salary starts at $280,800 annually and is based on experience. Board certification in a primary care specialty is required, with licensure and DEA credentials active and unrestricted.

Qualifications

• Must have MD or DO from accredited medical school.
• Active, unrestricted Illinois MD/DO license or ability to obtain.
• Active, unrestricted DEA.
• Ability to pass credentialing, drug screening and background check.
• BC/BE in a primary care specialty is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical direction to meet service delivery requirements.
• Direct clinical services for patients and supervise medical staff at the assigned site.
• Participate in CQI, Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics committees as requested.
