AltaMed Health Services seeks a Site Medical Director-PACE to oversee clinical patient care at the PACE site(s). You will address medical, programmatic, and administrative issues in collaboration with the Clinic Administrator and Nurse Administrator.

You will actively participate in the Interdisciplinary Team and direct medical care decisions, ensuring high-quality, compliant care for our diverse patient population across California locations.

Qualifications

• Physician with active CA medical license.
• DEA license required.
• Leadership/management experience preferred.
• Electronic Medical Records experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese preferred, depending on location.
• Valid BLS certification or higher.

Job Overview

The Site Medical Director-PACE has overall responsibility for the clinical patient care at the PACE site(s) he/she is delegated to oversee. He/she addresses clinical, programmatic, medical, and administrative issues at the site in collaboration with the Clinic Administrator and Nurse Administrator. The Site Medical Director-PACE or designee actively participates in the Interdisciplinary Team and directs the medical care decisions.

Minimum Requirements

• Physician with an active, unrestrictive CA license to practice medicine by the Medical Board of California and a DEA License required.
• Prior experience in a leadership or management role is strongly preferred.
• Previous experience with computer-based systems is required; Electronic Medical Records experience is preferred.
• Education, training, and experience are necessary to meet the underwritten requirements for inclusion under AltaMed’s malpractice insurance coverage.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese preferred, depending on location.
• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Compensation

$310,648.00 - $372,777.60 annually
