Job summary

Plasticade in Elkhart, IN seeks a Site Manager for its Rubber Manufacturing Plant. You will lead a cross-functional team across production, engineering, quality, warehouse and maintenance to build a high-performance culture and drive engagement with HR

as you own plant performance in SQCDM and execute priorities to hit KPI targets for OEE, downtime, labor productivity and inventory accuracy. The role also oversees budgeting, cost-saving initiatives and sustainability efforts.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of manufacturing experience with 2+ years leading a site or plant operation.
• Proven track record improving batch manufacturing processes.
• Experience with Lean/CI methodologies and implementing operational systems.
• Strong leadership presence, written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a cross-functional team across production, engineering, quality, warehouse, and maintenance.
• Drive a high-performance, value-aligned culture and workforce planning with HR.
• Own plant performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale (SQCDM).
• Meet KPI goals (OEE, downtime, labor productivity, inventory accuracy).
• Manage site budget, cost-saving initiatives, and EBITDA performance.
• Ensure strong system implementation and adherence to processes and systems.
• Lead improvements to throughput, standardization, and reliability.
• Promote a safety-first culture with OSHA and regulatory compliance.
• Support sustainability and waste-reduction initiatives.
