POSITION SUMMARY: This Site Manager III positions exists to oversee, and be actively involved, in the day-to-day operations of the assigned outpatient facility (with 3 or more employees) that offer procedures including but not limited to Stereotactic imaging and biopsy, additionally includes: monitoring and proactively addressing employee, patient, and physician matters and concerns; physician and technologist protocols; patient procedures; quality control; and regulatory issues. Responsible for ordering of supplies, timekeeping for permanent staff onsite, performing evaluations of permanent staff, creating a positive working relationship with referring offices, conflict resolution and the promotion of excellent customer service. Will also cover clinical technologist duties when not performing administrative leadership functions.
SHIFT: M - F / 7:30a - 4:30p
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Clinical duties as a mammography technologist which include but are not limited to gathering previous images, paperwork, questionnaires provided by the patient and ensuring that the patient is scheduled for the correct exam. Responsible for obtaining and evaluating images on patient before sending them to the radiologist on duty. Tracking patient files in and out of the office and assisting in location and retrieval of prior outside studies, Proficient in Diagnostic and Stereotactic Imaging and Biopsy.
- Performs employee-focused management functions related to: interviewing/hiring (in conjunction with Ops and Pt. Rep Managers), on-boarding/orientation/training, coaching/development, staffing/scheduling, employee relations, and performance management as guided by company policy and procedures. Performance evaluation for all site staff including front desk
- Monitors the clinical operational performance include: volumes, scheduling, quality, patient engagement, etc. Works with direct reports, clinical staff, radiologists and administration to enhance day to day operations of outpatient sites. Work with scheduling supervisor, schedulers and referring physicians to resolve issues and concerns
- Oversees the scheduling fixed site technologists and Pt Rept partners with Mammography Clinical Ops Manager and Patient Rep Manager in order to ensure adequate clinical coverage for day to day operations within the sites. This will include ensuring we adequate coverage for vacation requests and unexpected call outs. Plan staffing needs for expansion and creating flexible work schedules. Manage timekeeping for direct reports, to include, but not limited to: inputting missed punches and making time adjustments as needed, tracking and approval of PTO in a fair and consistent manner, approvals of bi-weekly payroll(s). Monitors and tracks OT. Monitors attendance and timekeeping on a regular basis to ensure policies are consistently followed, and addresses violations in a timely manner. Provide staffing hours for front desk on monthly basis
- Provides oversight of orientation of new Mamm Tech hires to the site site. Works with Lead Trainer, Ops Manager and Pt Rep Manager to implement coaching and re-training of employees. Work with trainer to address transition and changes to workflow, as needed
- Proactively communicates with staff and keeps them informed on a regular basis or as needed. Conducts regular staff meetings to disseminate important information relevant to their roles or the company. Encourages discussion so that employee feedback and any concerns needing clarification or resolution are addressed. Leads employee engagement initiatives for site and partners with Mamm Ops and Pt Rep Managers on areas of concern with floating assigned to fixed site. Maintains open communications encourages staff to suggestions on how to improve patient care and the work environment
- Trouble shooting of equipment
- Ensure necessary office supplies and equipment are available
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Licensing/Certification:
- Junior College/Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or office management
- ARRT/ CPR
- Associate Degree preferred
Experience (years And Type)
- 3-5 years Mammography, healthcare management with direct staff supervision of 5+ employees experience
- Proficiency in Diagnostic imaging and Stereotactic biopsy and imaging
Knowledge And Skills
- Computer literate
- Ability to read and interpret medical reports, extract pertinent information from them and present that information in a concise and appropriate manner
- Anatomic knowledge of breast tissue pattern and related structures as well as breast pathology and treatment of breast pathology
- Knowledge of radiographic technique and positioning. Knowledge of ultrasound positioning and anatomy (if stationed at a diagnostic site)
- Intimate knowledge of clinical site procedure and workflow as well as knowledge of departmental needs for smooth day to day operations
