The Site Manager II is responsible for the daily management of operations, including supervising and directing the work of the sanitation crew, managing the budget, and billing our customers for service rendered. Job duties include:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Site Manager II is responsible for the daily management of operations, including supervising and directing the work of the sanitation crew, managing the budget, and billing our customers for service rendered. Job duties include:
1. Plan, develop, and implement strategies for operational management to meet performance, safety, timeliness, and budget requirements.
2. Manage and control site expenditures within approved budgets.
3. Manage site usages of labor, supplies, and chemicals to ensure P&L standards are met.
4. Evaluate and document sanitation processes for potential cost savings, citing specific areas, dollars, and/or percentages to support recommendations relied upon by superiors.
5. Monitor, measure, and report on operational issues, opportunities, improvement plans, and achievements within agreed formats and timeframes.
6. Communicate with the Area Manager daily to report accidents, downtime, damage, and other important plant issues.
7. Communicate with the Corporate office daily regarding items such as nightly logs, payroll, chemical and supply orders, timesheets, etc.
8. Complete weekly internal safety audits on staff and equipment to ensure a safe work environment.
9. Set, monitor, motivate, and track specific goals for the sanitation crew regarding safety, cleanliness, and punctuality.
10. Manage and develop direct reporting staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, motivating, evaluating, and handling grievances, disciplinary actions, and work planning.
11. Ensure compliance with all internal procedures and policies, including those from Technical Services, Human Resources, Accounting, IT, and customer service.
12. Implement training programs including safety and ERP.
13. Coordinate responses to governmental or customer deficiencies.
14. Report and investigate all accidents.
15. Monitor treatment of injured team members and assist with worker’s compensation and restricted duty work.
16. Serve as a liaison with customers, attend sanitation meetings, communicate responsibilities, submit corrective action procedures, and follow up to ensure resolution.
17. Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies as needed.
18. Perform other duties as assigned.

This position reports to a processing facility with hot, cold, and wet conditions requiring PPE, which may include a hard hat, rain gear, boots, goggles, and gloves.
