Job summary

GS2 | B Corp™ seeks a Site Manager to serve as the Owner’s on-site representative for a 338 MW solar PV project, providing technical, safety, and quality oversight of EPC construction activities.

You will report to the Owner’s Project Manager and lead adherence to safety, scheduling, and environmental controls, collaborating with EPC contractors, inspectors, and stakeholders to drive project success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction oversight on utility-scale solar or heavy civil infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent field experience).
• Working knowledge of EPC contracts, JHAs, safety plans, and environmental compliance (SWPPP, stormwater, dust control).
• Ability to interpret civil, electrical, and structural drawings and manage lookaheads and progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical, safety, and quality oversight of EPC construction activities.
• Coordinate with the EPC Contractor, local inspectors, and key project stakeholders.
• Track schedule and risk, maintain defects logs, and update weekly progress reports.
• Coordinate turnover readiness, testing, commissioning, and punch-list through substantial completion and acceptance.

In this role, you will report directly to the Owner's Project Manager and deliver daily on-site technical, safety, and quality oversight of EPC construction activities for a massive 300+ MW solar PV project.

The successful Site Manager will:

• Possess 5+ years of construction oversight experience on utility-scale solar or heavy civil/electrical infrastructure projects, ideally backed by a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent field experience).
• Bring a strong safety mindset with working knowledge of EPC contract structures, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), site-specific safety plans, and environmental compliance (SWPPP, stormwater, dust control).
• Demonstrate strong technical competency in interpreting civil, electrical, and structural drawings, with familiarity in BOP sequencing, substations, and interconnections.
• Drive schedule and risk management by validating EPC lookaheads, tracking site progress/manpower, maintaining defects logs, and updating weekly progress reports.
• Coordinate turnover readiness, test documentation, commissioning, and punch-list completion through substantial completion and final acceptance.
