We are searching for an experienced Site Manager at our manufacturing facility in Frederick, Maryland.

JobSummary

Initially,this role will be instrumental in launching, scaling, and leading a newmanufacturing facility while building a high-performing team and culturecapable of supporting long-term growth.

Thisposition is responsible for leading aspects of manufacturing operationsincluding production, quality, logistics, maintenance, and overall plantperformance while driving operational excellence through continuous improvementof processes, systems, and teams. It ensures customer commitments are metthrough on time delivery, high quality standards, and cost efficiency whilefostering a safe, accountable, and high performing work environment andenforcing ISO aligned standards. Success requires strong leadership, criticalthinking, and the ability to influence and engage teams in a fast-pacedmanufacturing setting.

EssentialDuties & Responsibilities

  • Ownand manage site KPIs including safety, quality, on-time delivery, inventoryaccuracy, labor utilization, productivity, and financial performance.
  • Leadfacility activities including equipment installation, commissioning, productionreadiness reviews, staffing ramp-up, operating procedure development, andlaunch-to-production execution.
  • Serveas the primary operational liaison for key customers, supporting plant tours,customer audits, corrective actions, delivery recovery plans, and relationshipmanagement.
  • Fostera positive, engaged, high-accountability culture through consistentcommunication, employee involvement, and leadership visibility.
  • Developleadership capability within the organization through coaching, successionplanning, training, and performance development programs.
  • Developand execute manufacturing plans to meet customer demand, quality expectations,and business objectives
  • Partnerwith executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align operationalpriorities with company strategy
  • Planand coordinate production schedules in collaboration with sales and operationsteams
  • Developand expand production capacity to meet monthly and annual shipping goals
  • Monitorworkflow, identify bottlenecks or delays, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency
  • Leadimplementation of visual management, standard work, layered process audits, 5S,Kaizen events, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Overseepurchasing, inventory management, and material flow to ensure customercommitments are met
  • Prepare,analyze, and communicate production and operational performance reports
  • Controloperational costs and manage budgets to achieve financial targets
  • Partnerwith Human Resources to address employee relations matters, includingperformance management and conflict resolution
  • Leadsafety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safetypolicies
  • Maintaina safe working environment and ensure proper use of PPE, equipment, andprocedures
  • Coordinatefacility improvement projects and manage contractors, vendors, and serviceproviders to ensure successful completion of site objectives.
  • Leadcapital projects, facility expansions, and continuous improvement initiativesto support operational growth and efficiency.
  • Monitor,test, and optimize plant processes to improve performance and reliability
  • Interpret policies, procedures, and operational guidelines to ensureconsistency and compliance
  • Maintainconfidentiality of sensitive and employee-related information
  • Performother duties as assigned
SAFETYREQUIREMENTS
  • Complywith all OSHA, and company safety policies, procedures and requirements.

  • Responsiblefor supporting and complying with the company’s Integrated Management System,which aligns with ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 45001(Health and Safety) standards.
  • Promotesa culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility by followingestablished IMS procedures aligned with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
MinimumRequirements
  • Bachelor'sdegree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Business, or related fieldpreferred.
  • Sevenor more years of manufacturing leadership experience, including responsibilityfor safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. Or equivalent of combinedexperience and education.
  • Strongcommitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Synthesizescomplex or diverse information; collects and researches data; uses intuitionand experience to complement data; designs workflows and procedures.
  • Ableto develop and present ideas in verbal meetings and presentation format to alllevels of the organization.
  • Understandingin Lean Enterprise, 5S, PDCA, root cause analysis.
  • Preferredexperience in fabrication, welding, robotic welding, laser cutting, craneoperation and heavy industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Identifiesand resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes informationskillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solvingsituations; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
PhysicalRequirements
  • Exposureto fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.
  • Occasionallifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; occasional stooping, kneeling,crouching, and/or crawling; and frequent fine finger dexterity.
  • Abilityto stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks over a 10-12-hourperiod.
  • Thejob is performed under occasional temperature variations and in a manufacturingproduction environment.
  • Mustbe able to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, andsteel-toe shoes, when on the production floor.
  • Unrestrictedvisual and audio abilities are required for the safety of all employees.
    Theability to lift to 25 lbs. is required.
