Site Manager

Summary: Melhorn Sales Service & Trucking, located in Van Wert, Ohio, is seeking a Site Manager to oversee and maintain our facility and support daily operations. The facility comprises an equipment sanitation building, a vehicle maintenance building, a vehicle storage building, and a biosecurity building. The Site Manager will be responsible for supervising daily activities, including the vaccination and relocation of live poultry, as well as the sanitation of all equipment used.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance and sanitation staff.
• Liaison for Drivers
• Working alongside the Director of Crew (Manager of poultry handling crews).
• Oversee and maintain facility
• Approve and submit all required financial documents to finance department.
• Ensuring a safe working environment
• Ability to motivate staff

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Valid CDL Class A driver’s license; including air brake endorsement (Required)
• Clean driving record (Required)
• 3+ Years Management experience
• Proven experience working as a diesel mechanic, preferably in a fleet or heavy equipment environment (Preferred).
• Ability to lift 100lbs
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
