Job summary

Atlas Copco Tools & Assembly Systems LLC seeks a Site Manager to lead an embedded service team at a customer facility. You’ll shape service operations, ensure productivity, and deliver customer satisfaction through strategic direction and hands-on leadership.

The role requires 5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong budgeting and KPI skills, and the ability to travel nationally up to 10–15%.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, KPIs, and continuous improvements.
  • Experience with automation or assembly tooling is preferred.
  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships to improve internal and customer outcomes.
  • Familiarity with fastening tools and torque theory is advantageous.
  • HS diploma required; technical/management degree preferred; travel up to 10–15%.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily on-site operations and service delivery, ensuring contract compliance and budget alignment.
  • Monitor metrics, prepare KPI reports, and address issues to maintain service quality and turnaround times.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team through workload planning and skills development.
  • Promote employee engagement, retention, and a positive workplace culture.
  • Implement process improvements to deliver measurable value for customers.
  • Collaborate with product/service sales teams and distributors for a seamless customer experience.

Are you a results-driven leader with a passion for operational excellence and team development in high-paced, customer-focused environments? Atlas Copco is seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to lead our embedded service team located within our customer’s facility as part of the Atlas Copco Tools and Assembly Systems. In this pivotal role, you'll shape and optimize service operations, providing strategic direction to ensure productivity, team effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.

As a Site Manager, you'll inspire your team to achieve high standards, cultivate an environment of continuous improvement, and champion employee growth and retention. Your hands-on leadership and strategic vision will have a direct impact on our customers and organization, making this position ideal for someone passionate about fostering team success and delivering exceptional service.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Lead daily operations and service delivery, ensuring contract compliance, effective budget management, and alignment with customer and internal KPIs.
  • Proactively monitor operational metrics, prepare and communicate KPI reports, and swiftly address challenges to maintain superior service standards, including turnaround times, delivery quality, labor efficiency, and cost management.
  • Build and nurture a high-performing team by effectively allocating workloads, optimizing labor efficiency, and consistently developing team members' capabilities and skills.
  • Actively foster employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention by promoting a positive, collaborative, and growth-oriented workplace culture.
  • Implement and sustain process improvements and operational efficiencies that consistently deliver customer satisfaction and measurable value.
  • Work collaboratively with product and service sales teams, as well as distributor partners, ensuring a seamless and high-quality customer experience.
  • Clearly articulate and communicate the comprehensive value of Atlas Copco’s services to customers, reinforcing trust and partnership.
  • Represent Atlas Copco professionally at all times, maintaining adherence to company policies and serving as a reliable on-site leader.

You will report daily onsite at Mobis' Ellabell, GA facility. This position reports directly to the Regional Manager.

To succeed, you will need
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience, demonstrating successful team leadership, development, and retention.
  • Strong proficiency in managing budgets, achieving key performance indicators (KPIs), and implementing continuous operational improvements.
  • Demonstrated experience in manufacturing environments, preferably involving automation or assembly tooling.
  • Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance both internal outcomes and customer satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with fastening tools and torque theory is highly preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; a 2-4 year degree in a technical or management discipline preferred; a bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel nationally up to 10-15% as required.
