Job summary

MARTIN INCORPORATED is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our on-site MRO operation in Dyersburg, Tennessee. You will oversee inventory, purchasing, and the on-site team, acting as the primary liaison between the customer, Martin, suppliers, and the on-site staff.

You will build strong customer partnerships, drive cost savings, manage the site budget and P&L, and report KPIs and project outcomes to Martin leadership.

Qualifications

• Hands-on leader with experience managing MRO or storeroom operations.
• Experience supervising employees and managing a customer account.
• Proficient with Excel, ERP, and inventory management systems.
• Able to analyze spend, optimize inventory, and report KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead Site Operations: manage day-to-day MRO storeroom operations including purchasing, receiving, inventory levels and safety.
• Build Customer Relationships: serve as the primary contact for the customer and resolve issues.
• Improve Cost and Performance: analyze spend and purchasing activity to identify cost savings and improvements.
• Manage Financial Performance: oversee budget and P&L and take actions to improve results.
• Track and Communicate Results: develop and present KPIs and performance to customer and leadership.
• Support Business Growth: identify opportunities for new services or expansion.

Our Opportunity:

Martin is looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead our on-site MRO operation in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

The Site Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the customer site, including inventory and purchasing, team leadership, financial performance, and customer satisfaction. You'll serve as the primary connection between the customer, Martin, suppliers, and the on-site team.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead Site Operations: Manage the day-to-day MRO storeroom operation, including purchasing, receiving, inventory levels, storage, distribution, organization, and safety.
• Build Customer Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer, resolve issues, understand changing needs, and maintain a high level of service.
• Improve Cost and Performance: Analyze spend, inventory, and purchasing activity to identify cost savings, process improvements, and opportunities to provide additional value.
• Manage Financial Performance: Oversee the site’s budget and P&L, review financial results, and take appropriate action to improve performance.
• Track and Communicate Results: Develop and present KPIs, financial results, operational performance, projects, and improvement initiatives to the customer and Martin leadership.
• Support Business Growth: Identify opportunities for new services or expansion of existing business and provide operational and financial information needed to support proposals.

Requirements

What You’ll Need:

We’re looking for a hands‑on leader and problem solver who is comfortable managing an operation while working directly with a key customer.

• Experience in several of the following areas would be valuable:
• MRO, industrial distribution, manufacturing, supply chain, purchasing, or inventory management
• Supervising or leading employees
• Customer or account management
• Storeroom or inventory operations
• Budget or P&L management
• Cost savings and continuous improvement
• KPI development and reporting
• Microsoft Excel, ERP, or inventory management systems
