Job summary

CapstoneONE Search represents a Fortune 500 manufacturing organization seeking a Site Maintenance Director in Michigan. Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead the Maintenance and Reliability function for a 500+ employee plant, overseeing a department of 45 staff including 7 direct reports.

The role drives AM/PM scheduling, manages external contractors, and guides training, development, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure equipment uptime and safety.

• The Site Maintenance Director will be reporting to the GM and will be responsible for leading a department of 45 employees (7 direct reports)
• Complete ownership of the Maintenance and Reliability dept inclusive of Skilled Trade professionals (Electricians, Multi-Craft Technicians, Machine Repair Technicians, etc...)
• Responsible for the training and development of staff
• Responsible for complete AM/PM schedule of all plant capital equipment
• Manage all external service providers and relationships with contractor
• Project Management activities inclusive of equipment installation
• Work cross functionally with different internal departments

Job description

We are representing a FORTUNE 500 manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Site Maintenance Director due to a recently announced promotion. Reporting to the General Manager, the Site Maintenance Director will lead the Maintenance and Reliability function of a 500+ employee manufacturing plant responsible for leading a department of 45 employees with (7) direct reports (Maintenance Supervisors, Planners, etc..).

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Site Maintenance Director will be reporting to the GM and will be responsible for leading a department of 45 employees (7 direct reports)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Degree is required for consideration
• Candidate should have at least 3-5 years of Plant Engineering or Maintenance Leadership experience
• Experience in high speed/fast paced manufacturing environment is required
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and work cross functionally with others.
