Job summary

HouseSmart Construction is hiring a full-time Installer to support the Crew Chief in daily setup of homes. You will travel to job sites, load/unload materials, and assist with vapor barriers, piers, and masonry work while training teammates.

The role requires work in all outdoor conditions, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. CDL or safety certifications are a plus; pay starts at $20/hr+ based on experience with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in all outdoor conditions (extreme heat/cold, rain/snow) while leading and motivating teams.
• Excellent driving record; CDL or additional driving certifications a plus.
• Safety certifications (OSHA certifications, First Aid, CPR, etc.) a plus.
• Comfortable with heights (ladder), crawl spaces, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Travel to each home site and assist the team with construction activities.
• Load/unload materials; keep tools and trucks organized.
• Help install vapor barriers and build piers; do basic masonry work.
• Assist with site prep, leveling, door bars, electrical/plumbing crossovers, and other hands-on tasks.
• Safely operate heavy equipment under supervision.
