Job summary

Mars Incorporated is seeking a Site Industrial Engineer to partner with Value Stream Managers and the Industrial Engineering Manager to formalize and develop loss prevention strategies and optimize production lines for safety, productivity, and quality. The role focuses on data-driven decisions to deliver lasting improvements across the value stream.

You will help shape the roadmaps, challenge standards to increase value, and support the cost savings journey for the Mars Wrigley supply strategy,

Qualifications

• Minimum: Associate degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering or similar technical field.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience in production, engineering, or finance.
• OR Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering / Industrial Engineering, or similar technical field.
• Comfortable with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve performance trend, loss analysis, and capacity database.
• Improve performance reporting (Capacity, line performance, etc.).
• Conduct capability and capacity analysis for production lines and lead bottleneck analysis.
• Track KPIs, perform trend analysis, and communicate performance against targets.
• Lead/participate in loss analysis and CI activities toward zero loss (FI Pillar of TPM).
• Collaborate with Operations by facilitating problem solving and loss analysis on chronic problems.
