Rhoades Construction is hiring a working Foreman/Operator to manage the jobsite, ensure project progression, and maintain a safe environment for teammates, customers, and the public.

You will operate heavy equipment safely, oversee a small crew, coordinate with the Project Manager, and conduct daily paperwork and safety checks. Starting pay is $28/hour, with overtime and travel between Canon City and Salida as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Able to pass drug and background checks.
• Able to read engineered site plans and surveys.
• Experience with water/sewer/storm sewer installations.
• Capable of reading grades and site staking.
• Willing to travel between Canon City and Salida as needed.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends as required.

Responsabilités

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Oversee a small crew to meet timelines and specs.
• Set daily crew goals and assign duties.
• Communicate with the Project Manager on progress.
• Evaluate crew performance and provide coaching.
• Complete daily paperwork (reports, safety sheets, timesheets).
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on tools.
• Maintain a safe work environment per policies.
