Job summary

INEOS Acetyls in Texas City seeks an experienced Site Accountant to provide financial stewardship for the Texas City site. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, SAP month-end close, and financial analysis to support site leadership and the Acetyls business.

The role interacts with Operations, Commercial and Finance teams to deliver insightful financial reporting, manage intercompany balances and contribute to process improvements. 10+ years of experience and IFRS/GAAP knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ degree in Accounting or Finance with 10+ years relevant experience.
• Strong IFRS/GAAP knowledge and ability to apply it to daily postings and reporting.
• Independent and results-oriented with emphasis on data quality and attention to detail.
• Strong digital skills and preferably knowledge of SAP.
• Experience with cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze and report site costs for actuals, budget, and forecast.
• Manage month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations and IFRS/GAAP-compliant accounting.
• Coordinate SAP master data, cost centers and GL allocations for accurate cost flow.
• Partner with Operations, Commercial, and Site Leadership to drive insights.
• Support annual budget, forecasts, cash flow and variance analyses.
