Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Corporation is seeking a Site Engineer to join its project management teams. The role supports safety, planning, and execution for dredging projects across ocean and river operations, with a 2 weeks on / 1 week off travel cycle and TWIC eligibility.

  • Plan project layouts for a fleet of ocean and river-based vessels by maintaining dredge instrumentation and automation.
  • Contribute to the company’s profitability through accurate tracking of dredging progress and survey processes.
  • Achieve success by delivering quality control excellence on all project sites.
  • Travel and work a 2 week on/1week off, Wednesday to Wednesday rotation.
  • You must be able to obtain a TWIC.

Site Engineers are an integral part of GLDD project management teams.

Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Corporation is the largest provider of dredging services in the United States. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Utilize state-of-the-art technology to monitor and direct project activities and provide efficient dredging project execution. Our extensive fleet of GPS positioning software and hydrographic surveying equipment enables engineers to monitor every activity in near real time.
  • Plan project layouts for a massive fleet of ocean and river-based vessels by maintaining dredge instrumentation and automation.
  • Contribute to the company’s profitability through accurate tracking of dredging progress and survey processes.
  • Achieve success by delivering quality control excellence on all project sites.
  • Travel and work a 2 week on/1week off, Wednesday to Wednesday rotation.
  • You must be able to obtain a TWIC.
