Job summary

GPC - Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Civil Site Engineer for a groundworks package on a Datacentre project in Wicklow. The successful candidate will apply civil engineering expertise on site, ensuring safety, quality and programme targets are met.

Requirements include a Civil Engineering degree and 4+ years on-site experience, strong communication, a driving licence, and the ability to work within a team. Travel allowance and a company vehicle are provided.

• Maintain high health and safety standards on all works.
• Ensure quality of work and material control on site.

Civil Site Engineer Civil Site Engineer with 3+ years experience required for a Tier 1 Main Contractor to work on the groundworks package of a Datacentre in Wicklow. Our client is ideally looking for an Engineer with a strong civils background with experience in groundworks, utilities, and concrete.

Responsibilities

• Setting-out Reading & interpreting drawings for layouts, materials measure etc.
• Management of subcontractors/groundworkers
• Planning works in an efficient manner to ensure programme targets are achieved
• Liaise with clients representatives/Design Team members as appropriate
• Ensure that all works are carried out to the highest Health and Safety standards.
• Ensure work is carried out to the highest of quality standards.
• Ordering and control of materials on site.

Requirements

• Civil Engineering Degree 4+ years experience
• Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills
• Self-motivating to deliver on safety, quality & programme
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Full driving license
