Job summary

Liberty, a nationwide construction services company, seeks a Safety Manager to lead safety programs on projects, coordinating with Project Managers and Superintendents to mitigate risk and drive a culture of safety. The role requires 5–10 years of self-perform commercial construction experience, a health & safety degree or equivalent, OSHA training, and strong communication.

Travel is minimal and duties include training, audits, and OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/University Degree in Health & Safety, Construction Management or equivalent experience and certifications.
• 5-10 years self-perform commercial construction experience.
• Travel Requirements: 0-5%
• Licenses/Certifications: Driver’s License
• Technical Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, OSHA 30/40 hour
• Ability to work weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer Safety programs activities and projects to support business objectives.
• Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to address key risk in EHS.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to local management and staff on safety.
• Coordinate training and development programs for employees.
• Review OSHA, EPA, NFPA and local safety regulations for compliance.
