Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Site Director to lead a team of teachers, ensure educational and licensing standards are met, and partner with families to deliver exceptional early childhood programs. This role focuses on building a positive, safe, and engaging classroom community.

You will recruit and enroll new families, collaborate with district staff and community partners, and strive to drive program excellence across the site.

Qualifications

• At least one year of teaching experience and ability to develop, engage, and inspire a team.
• Love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day.
• Ability to build relationships with families and staff in a dynamic play-based environment.
• Outstanding customer service, strong organizational skills, and multitasking.
• Meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
• Be able to lift 40 pounds, use a computer, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise teachers to create engaging classroom experiences and develop best-in-class educators.
• Ensure site operations meet licensing, safety, and educational standards.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, school and district leaders, licensing authorities, and partners.
• Lead recruitment and enrollment efforts of new families and children.
