KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Site Director in Hood River, OR to lead a team of teachers, ensure licensing compliance, and partner with families to deliver high-quality early education. The role focuses on creating engaging classroom experiences tied to our nationally recognized curriculum.

As Site Director, you will recruit and enroll families, maintain strong relationships with staff and local authorities, and drive program excellence across our sites.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of teaching experience with ability to develop, engage and inspire a team.
• Be physically able to use a computer and lift up to 40 pounds; work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand and speak English to communicate with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a group of teachers to create engaging classroom experiences.
• Ensure site operates with licensing, safety and educational standards.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, school and district leaders, licensors, and partners.
• Lead recruitment and enrollment efforts for new families and children.
