North Royalton YMCA in Ohio is seeking a Site Director to oversee one or two childcare sites, ensuring safe, engaging programs and licensure compliance.

You will supervise teachers, develop lesson plans, coordinate with families and community, and manage records and supplies, with duties up to 50% in childcare.

The role emphasizes collaboration, strong communication, and adherence to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must meet OCCRRA CPL 3 requirements.
• CPR, First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen Administration certifications within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 3 years in school age/preschool childcare.
• Minimum 1 year supervising staff.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• ODJFS licensing procedures knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure licensing requirements are met and site maintained to standards.
• Direct supervision of Lead and Assistant Teachers.
• Appraise staff and train where needed.
• Design learning opportunities promoting development across domains.
• Collaborate with families and community partners.
• Maintain records and prepare for licensure audits.
• Implement emergency plans and ensure space is clean and safe.
• Coordinate supplies with district and coordinators.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
