Job summary

Clippers Landscaping is seeking a Crew Leader to supervise a field crew on job sites in Maryland. You will plan, assign and direct work, train crew members, manage materials and equipment, and resolve client issues. Reports to the Operations Manager and ensures safety and quality on every project.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Effective English communication; bilingual in Spanish highly preferred
• Ability to train others and demonstrate leadership
• Dependability; punctuality and reliability

Responsibilities

• Create schedules with management and follow job specifications, including materials and timelines
• Organize, supervise, lead and train employees to complete projects within guidelines and timeframe
• Ensure contractual obligations align with proper horticultural practices
• Maintain equipment preventive maintenance program
• Inspect each job site weekly and manage punch lists
• Identify ways to improve work processes, efficiency and quality
• Communicate with onsite clients as per plan, address requests and follow up
• Keep manager informed of client concerns and site communications
• Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to safety guidelines
