Job summary

Dematic has an immediate need for an Electrical Controls Engineer in our Customer Service Modernizations & Upgrades group. Candidates will be proficient in planning, schematic and panel drawings, and implementing engineering design projects.

Ideal candidates will have 6+ years of experience, AutoCAD proficiency, and hands-on work with Rockwell or Siemens PLCs, AC drives, and Ethernet/IP networks. This role offers opportunities for career development and global project exposure.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in electrical engineering or advanced degree required.
• 6+ years of experience in the related field.
• Proven ability to plan, craft schematic and panel drawings, and commission projects.
• Experience with PLCs (Rockwell or Siemens) and drive technologies is preferred.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $74,000 to $112,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

This Is What You Will Do In This Role

• Completes recommendations for ideas related to efficiency improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction.
• Performs sophisticated technical interchange and knowledge transfer for both processes and the application of products to system build.
• Performs a full range of standard work for the professional field.
• Identifies and resolves more complex problems and applies problem-solving skills in order to take care of most situations.

What We Are Looking For

• BS/BA in electrical engineering or advanced degree or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of successful experience in the related field.
• Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the organization's business practices and issues.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Proficient in either Rockwell or Siemens PLCs.
• Knowledgeable on AC drives, both open & closed loop.
• Experience in Ethernet IP network design and machine safety a plus.
