Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Site Controller for a large e-commerce facility. You will lead all Accounting, Finance and Analytics, directly impacting profitability and working with DHL and Customer senior leaders.

You will manage budgets, forecasts and capital expenditures, oversee month-end close and A/P/A/R, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. A strong finance background in logistics is essential.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of Finance or Accounting experience
• Experience in logistics/manufacturing/warehousing preferred
• Strong systems skills with Oracle and Essbase, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access
• Strong analytical ability with actionable recommendations
• Proven leadership and relationship-building across functions
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environments

Responsibilities

• Lead Accounting, Finance and Business Analytics for a large e-commerce facility
• Interact with Senior Leadership from DHL and Customer

Job Description

Our Site Controller leads all Accounting, Finance, and Business Analytic activities for a large e-commerce facility, dedicated to one Customer. This high visibility position reports to the Site Director and has heavy customer interaction.

In this Site Controller role, you will:

• Work independently, while leading a functional team of associates
• Lead interactions with Senior Leadership from both DHL and Customer
• Create and get approval for DHL and Customer budgets, rolling forecast, and capital expenditure requirements
• Be responsible for labor planning and management
• Provide actionable insight based on analysis of volume and profile
• Have oversight for Month End Close, Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Ensure compliance with customer contract and service levels
• Drive continuous improvement principles to optimize cost and efficiency
• Be empowered to make decisions for the site

Required Education And Experience

• Minimum 10-15 years prior Finance or Accounting experience, required
• Prior experience in a logistics, manufacturing or warehousing business, preferred
• Strong systems skills - Oracle and Essbase, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and other Web Development Languages, required
• Strong analytical skills with ability to make recommendations for action
• Strong people skills - ability to lead a team and build relationships with various functions
• Must enjoy working in an intense, fast paced, and sometimes ambiguous environment
