Job summary

Mungo Homes in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Builder to coordinate and monitor construction activities across assigned neighborhoods, ensuring quality, consistency and timely completion.

The role collaborates with Purchasing, Estimating, Quality, Production Management and Land Development to resolve issues, manage budgets, inspect work for safety and standards, and complete required paperwork. A Bachelor’s degree or 1–2 years of related experience is preferred; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; or one to two years relevant experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain schedule for each building according to a designated start schedule.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Estimating, Quality, Production Management and Land Development.
• Evaluate project costs and maintain budgets including POs and back charges; report variances.
• Inspect work progress to ensure safety, construction and performance standards are met.
• Complete inspections and required paperwork; maintain field records and ledgers.
