Job summary

Mungo Homes in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Builder to coordinate construction activities across assigned neighborhoods, ensuring consistent methods that achieve quality, timeliness, and safety. This role requires collaboration with Purchasing, Estimating, Quality, Production Management, and Land Development to resolve issues and drive project success.

You will oversee field crews, monitor budgets and variances, inspect sites, complete required paperwork, and provide daily reporting on progress

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university preferred; or 1–2 years relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• KOVA software knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain schedule for each building according to a designated start schedule in assigned neighborhood(s).
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Estimating, Quality, Production Management and Land Development to resolve problems and coordinate activities.
• Examine and inspect work progress to verify safety, construction and performance standards.
• Complete inspections on time and complete all paperwork, including daily reporting and payment approvals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Production team, customers/clients, and trade partners.
