Job summary

Hatch is seeking a site-based Construction Manager to execute project assignments, coordinate engineering and construction services across the USA, and ensure the projects are completed on time and on budget for heavy industrial, metals, or mining sectors.

You will lead assigned projects, supervise Field Representatives and Project Managers, review shop drawings, and oversee the build phase while resolving onsite questions with engineering input as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Construction Management.
• Heavy industrial or steel industry experience is preferred.
• Experience on large-scale EPCM/EPC projects is preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Technical Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure completion of construction activities in line with project schedule.
• Establish and maintain a positive client relationship.
• Manage Field Representatives and Project Managers.
• Review shop drawings and supervise the build phase.
• Troubleshoot all phases of heavy construction and operations work.
• Schedule and run meetings and coordinate with contractors.
• Generate pay applications, cost schedules, and bid tabs.
• Oversee onsite quality and QA/QC programs with subcontractors.
