Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside.
• Physically able to perform assigned tasks.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time.

Responsibilities

• Assist carpenters by holding and securing lumber and ensuring it is level during installation.
• Assist with building forms for pouring concrete.
• Transport tools and equipment to the job site.
• Load and unload building materials for construction projects.
• Build and disassemble scaffolding and temporary structures.
• Remove debris and hazards to maintain safe sites.
• Dig trenches and holes as needed for projects.
• Keep machines serviced and maintained.
• Follow instructions from supervisors, foremen, and carpenters.
