Responsibilities

• Assist carpenters by holding and securing lumber during installation.
• Assist with building forms for pouring concrete.
• Prepare work area by transporting needed tools and equipment from storage facility.
• Loads and unloads building materials to be used on construction projects.
• Builds and disassembles scaffolding, bracing, and other temporary structures used on construction sites.
• Removes debris and hazards to keep construction sites clean and safe.
• Digs trenches and holes needed in construction projects.
• Keep machines serviced.
• Follow instructions from supervisors, foremen, and carpenters.
