The Site Commissioning (CX) Lead oversees all on‑site commissioning activities for utility‑scale solar PV, BESS, and high‑voltage substation projects. You serve as the primary commissioning liaison for EPC‑delivered Bulk Electrical Systems (BES), ensuring equipment is installed, tested, energized, and verified per project specifications, industry standards, and grid‑interconnection requirements.
Up to 75% travel with extended stays at project sites nationwide.
Work hours may vary significantly to support commissioning, energization windows, and utility outage schedules.
Work is performed primarily in field environments at utility‑scale renewable energy sites and high‑voltage substations. Exposure includes outdoor weather, noise, energized electrical systems, and construction equipment. Must comply with all PPE requirements, LOTO procedures, and site safety standards. Physical demands include standing, climbing, lifting (10–40 lbs), and working at heights or in constrained spaces.
