Job summary

WithersRavenel in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Civil Professional I (EIT) who graduates in December 2026 or May 2027 to start their career and contribute to Site Civil Land Development. You will support project engineers, help develop designs, and deliver client-ready plans in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

This early-career role offers mentorship from senior engineers, exposure to AutoCAD/Civil 3D and related tools, and a hybrid schedule with about three days in the office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 0-1+ years of related professional experience (internships and co-ops considered).
• Exposure to and/or experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Geopak, or related design software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to take direction.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks under deadlines.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm, flexibility, and commitment to professional growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.

• FE Exam in progress/completed. Possibly already an EI/EIT
