WithersRavenel in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a Civil Professional I (EIT) to help shape the communities where we live and work. Graduating in December 2026 or May 2027, you will join the Site Civil Land Development team and support project engineers.

This early-career role emphasizes learning, collaboration, and growth as you contribute to design development, solve technical challenges, and deliver client-ready plans.

Hybrid schedule—about three days per week in the office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 0-1+ years of related professional experience (internships and co-ops considered).
• Exposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Geopak, or related design software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to take direction.

Responsibilities

• Support project engineers on Site Civil Land Development projects.
• Contribute to design development and prepare client-ready plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 0-1+ years of related professional experience (internships and co-ops considered).
• Exposure to and/or experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Geopak, or related design software.

Preferred

• FE Exam in progress/completed. Possibly already an EI/EIT.
• EI/EIT certification or ability to obtain.
• Internship experience in field of expertise.
• Exposure to graphic or visualization software.
