Job description

Constellation Search Group is looking for a Senior Site/Civil Practice Leader for a full-time direct hire position. This role involves leading and supporting design, permitting, and client management for diverse land development projects.

The individual will play a crucial role in expanding the Denver office and contributing to the growth of the Mountain Region Site/Civil discipline.

Responsibilities:

• Design and permit projects including residential, institutional, commercial centers, warehouse distribution centers, and mixed-use developments for public and private clients.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to develop growth plans and ensure staff utilization.
• Lead staffing and hiring efforts for the Denver office.
• Identify and pursue new client opportunities, develop additional work within existing projects, and attend business development meetings.
• Provide oversight and management of junior staff, coaching, training, and motivating Site/Civil team members.
• Lead site/civil efforts on various project sites, designing and overseeing site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control, from concept through completion.
• Conduct stormwater management design, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, and design SWPPP preparation.
• Demonstrate expertise in land development engineering, integrating geotechnical and environmental elements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 15+ years of successful, local and related site/civil engineering experience with land development on projects of varying size.
• Professional Engineering license.
• Expertise in designing and overseeing site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control from concept to completion.
• Strong client development and management skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D preferred.
• Active participation in professional organizations.
• Experience in technical and proposal writing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits and a valid driver's license in good standing.

Base pay range: $150,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr
