Job summary

HDR is seeking a Site Civil/Land Development EIT/Coordinator (Buildings) in Boise. You will support senior engineers on site studies, layouts, and drainage while preparing contract documentation and graphics. This role combines civil design with project coordination in a collaborative, inclusive culture.

A Bachelor’s degree is required; an EIT is preferred, with opportunity to advance to lead roles as you gain experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or related field.
• EIT certificate preferred; without EIT will be titled Coordinator, awaiting EIT for career progression.
• Familiarity with MicroStation and AutoCAD; experience with Bentley ConceptStation and Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Engineer with site studies, site designs, contract documentation preparation and graphic presentation.
• Perform site layout, grading, utility layout and drainage.
• Perform routine engineering assignments using standard techniques and procedures.
• Complete projects with clear objectives and limited variables.
• Handle administrative duties related to civil/site project management.
• Work independently on small projects or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects.
• Perform other duties as needed.
