Job summary

Ardurra is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer (EIT) to join our Land Development team, onsite in the Boise Meridian, ID area. You will support design and delivery of site development and infrastructure projects while pursuing PE licensure.

The role offers exposure to residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments and involves coordinating with project engineers, managers, clients, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
• 0–3+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in land development.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D required.
• Familiarity with hydrology/hydraulics software (e.g., Hydraflow, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS) preferred.
• Strong understanding of site grading, drainage, and utility design principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, design, and analysis of land development projects, including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway design.
• Prepare engineering drawings, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations for stormwater management systems.
• Support the preparation of drainage reports, utility reports, and permitting documentation.
• Coordinate with internal team members, clients, and regulatory agencies.
• Conduct site visits and assist with construction administration activities as needed.
• Assist with quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and technical reports.
• Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal standards and regulations.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.
