Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Civil Intern to support site development tasks and document research. You will help develop concept layouts, coordinate with authorities, and assist with design solutions under guidance from our BES Site Civil team.

Preferred candidates are local to the Lexington, KY area and have CAD/Civil 3D familiarity, with an undergraduate or graduate engineering program in progress and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with resources to complete due diligence research and documentation.
• Develop concept site layouts compliant with jurisdictional requirements.
• Assist with design coordination and submittal requirements.
• Produce plan sets, details, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with team engineers to determine best course of action.
