Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Site Civil Intern to support due diligence, concept site layouts, and coordination with jurisdictions. You will assist with plan sets, community outreach, and transition of concepts through design phases under supervision.

Current undergraduate or graduate engineering students with attention to detail and strong problem-solving and communication skills are encouraged to apply for this on-site internship in Dallas, TX.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are required.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Active participation in HDR's employee-owned culture is expected.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal and external resources to complete due diligence and documentation.
• Develop concept site layouts compliant with jurisdictional requirements and support pre-Application.
• Coordinate with Authority Having Jurisdiction for design/submittal requirements.
• Assist with community outreach within project scope and attend client meetings.
• Transition concept plans through schematic and construction design phases.
