Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year or advanced Civil Engineering degree; GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D and MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning, design and permitting of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects.
• Assist with the preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates and design plans using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and related tools.
• Assess soil, terrain, hydrological data and topography for planning and design considerations.
• Support zoning, permit assessments and feasibility analyses based on collected data.
• Provide field inspection services as needed.
• Apply engineering knowledge and advanced mathematics to project tasks.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments.
• Perform other duties as requested.
