Job summary

HUNT is seeking a senior Site/Civil Engineer to join our team across multiple NY-area offices (Binghamton, Horseheads, Rochester) and PA locations. You will design and detail site/civil plans for K-12, municipal water/sewer, healthcare, multi-family, and university markets, with involvement from feasibility to construction administration.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) or more years of experience.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Team-oriented 'can do' attitude.
• Proficient knowledge in utility sizing.
• Capability of storm water design, site layout, grading and permitting.
• PE or possess an EIT with intention to obtain a PE.

Responsibilities

• Design and detail site/civil plans for multiple markets (K-12, municipal, healthcare, multi-family, university).
• Engage projects at all design/construction stages: feasibility, concept design, utility sizing, stormwater calculations, permitting, bidding, and construction administration.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-caliber work in a fast-paced environment.
• Apply engineering judgment and teamwork to support project success and client satisfaction.

About the Role

This new team member will work with our Site/Civil Team to design and detail plans on a variety of important projects, including K-12 schools, Municipal Water and Sewer, Healthcare, Multi-family housing, and University markets. There will be opportunities to engage projects at all stages of design and construction including site feasibility, concept designs, utility engineering, stormwater calculations, permitting, bidding, and construction administration.
