Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Site Civil EIT/Coordinator in Madison, WI to assist with site studies, layouts, and design documentation.

The role emphasizes collaboration within HDR’s employee-owned culture and requires strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with BlueBeam experience preferred. The candidate will support project management for civil/site projects, work on small projects independently, and may advance to EIT status for career progression.

Qualifications

• Active participation in our employee-owned culture is a must.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D; BlueBeam experience.
• Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of Coordinator and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
• Experience with civil engineering software such as HydroCad, AutoTurn, and others as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Engineer with site studies, site designs, contract documentation preparation and graphic presentation.
• Perform overall site layout, grading, utility layout and drainage.
• Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures.
• Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables.
• Perform administrative duties associated with project management for civil/site projects.
• Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects.
• Perform other duties as needed.

In the role of Site Civil EIT/Coordinator, we'll count on you to:

Preferred Qualifications

Near full-time in-person work at assigned office

Proficient with AutoCad and Civil 3D

Proficient with BlueBeam

Experience with civil engineering software such as HydroCad, AutoTurn, and other others as appropriate

Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Coordinator" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression
