Job summary

HDR, Inc. in Madison, Wisconsin, is seeking a Site Civil EIT/Coordinator to support the Senior Engineer with site studies, designs, documentation and graphic presentations, and to handle site layout, grading, utilities and drainage tasks.

This role requires performing routine engineering tasks, completing projects with clear objectives, and managing project duties within HDR’s employee-owned culture. Candidates without an EIT may become Coordinators with plans to earn the EIT.

Qualifications

• Near full-time in-person work at assigned office.
• Proficient with AutoCad and Civil 3D.
• Proficient with BlueBeam.
• Experience with civil engineering software such as HydroCad, AutoTurn.
• Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of Coordinator and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.

• Perform overall site layout, grading, utility layout and drainage
• Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures
• Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables
• Perform administrative duties associated with project management for civil/site projects
• Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects
• Perform other duties as needed
