Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Site Civil Coordinator/EIT in the United States (Bellevue/Olympia, WA). You will support site studies, layout, drainage, and contract documentation while collaborating with senior engineers on civil/site projects.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil/Structural Engineering degree and an EIT certification, with 2+ years of site civil design experience and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation. Local candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation, Microsoft Office applications, and Bluebeam.
• 2+ Years design experience in site civil design.
• Actively engaged in professional or industry associations to enhance HDR technical expertise and brand.
• Preference given to local candidates.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Engineer with site studies, site designs, contract documentation preparation and graphic presentation.
• Perform overall site layout, grading, utility layout and drainage.
• Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures.
• Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables.
• Perform administrative duties associated with project management for civil/site projects.
• Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Coordinator" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation, Microsoft Office applications, and Bluebeam
• 2+ Years design experience in site civil design
• Actively engaged in professional or industry associations to enhance HDR technical expertise and brand
• Preference given to local candidates
